My Photo Blog

My Photo Blog

I just got a digital canon* not long ago from my son and I was stunned about its possibilities. My eldest son taught me to connect this to my computer and it was even better than seeing it in the camera. I tried to edit the pictures on my computer, but I didn’t succeed, though there were the icons for editing. It was frustrating as I eagerly wanted to publish it in a new blog. Then some one suggested to find a free “photo editor” by clicking from Google and so found picnik.com, and am able to edit even though I just learned how to crop my photo’s.

So I opened a new blog, Chew’s Pictures for my photo’s and selected a “template”. It was so dazzling with so many possiblities about background, footer, font color, size, … but it was so agonizing, horrible to see its results, while I don’t know, have no way to turn back to “templates”.

“Don’t you be discourged” so I comfort myself as what is yet most important, is the quality of the pictures. I could have my son edit my photo who would surely do it better, but he is just doing one. Learning, doing it myself is even far better, for I could edit as much as I want. Mine are not so good though, yet am I proud of them.

I wish I could not only have my pictures on my blog but also another blog of sounds and music. One day it must be possible. Hear the twitter, warble of birds, the song of crickets, cicada’s, hear a lovely little song sung by my wife, hear the kecapi-suling, … when I open my blog. What a joy!
